(MENAFN) The Al-Wasat news website revealed that Libyan Red Crescent Society on Tuesday retrieved four bodies of immigrants close to the city of Sirte.
The bodies were reportedly discovered on the shore of Harawa area, some 70 km east of Sirte.
The bodies were shifted to a local hospital, where the authorities are to take DNA examinations and other legal measures.
Up to 25 bodies of immigrants have been retrieved this month off Sirte, some 450 km east of the capital Tripoli.
