Irbid, Dec. 14 (Petra) -- Three people were killed and 4 others sustained various injuries in a traffic accident that involved two vehicles in Hofa Al-Mazar in the northern governorate of Irbid, official sources said Friday.
Media Department in the General Directorate of Jordan Civil Defense said that its cadres immediately responded to the accident and its rescue teams freed the dead bodies from inside the cars as medics administered first aid to the injured.
The injured along with the dead bodies were taken to the Prince Rashid Hospital. The general condition of the injured was fair; but one was described as critical, the source added.
