Jordan- PM meets Iraqi president

Amman, Nov. 15 (Petra)-- Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, on Thursday, met at the Prime Ministry with Iraqi President Braham Saleh, and discussed with him bilateral ties and ways to further boost them in various fields.

President Saleh voiced his country's appreciations of Jordan's stances towards Iraq, adding that the Hashemite family has a great stature in his country which will positively mirror on a true partnership between Amman and Baghdad.

Basra-Aqaba pipeline, electricity exports to Iraq and the entry of Jordanian commercial trucks to Iraq, were figured high during the meeting between Razzaz and president Saleh.

Razzaz directed concerned authorities to immediately solve to the issues that prevent Iraqi students from enrolling at government schools in the Kingdom.

The prime minister held an official dinner banquet in honor of the Iraqi president and the accompanying delegation.
