(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Five policemen have been killed during a clash with Taliban
Deputy police spokesman Javed Basharat told Pajhwok Afghan News the insurgents stormed an Afghan Local Police (ALP) post in the Surkh Kotal area of Pul-i-Khumri late on Friday night.
He said five (ALP) personnel were killed in the assault. Civilians suffered no casualties in the incident.

He added the injured were in stable condition. The Taliban have so far said nothing in this regard.
