(MENAFN) The NBA China Games 2018 are set to present a couple of preseason matches between the Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers, the NBA declared.
Both teams are to complete in China for the first time on October 5 with the match to be carried out in at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Right after the game, a rematch is scheduled to be held on October 8 at the the Shenzhen Universiade Center located in Shenzhen.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver commented "these games will not only bring the excitement of NBA action directly to our passionate Chinese fans, but also provide our teams and players an opportunity to experience the rich culture and history of the country."
The commissioner further added "the Mavericks and 76ers will be able to encounter firsthand the incredible support of our Chinese fans and bond with one another through projects and events in the local community."
