President Trump seeks ban on bump stock gun modifications

(MENAFN) President Trump has signed an order suggesting bump stock gun modifications to be prohibited following a series of shooting attacks.

The President emphasized that "we must do more to protect our children" following the attack which struck the United States of a Florida high school witnessing a shooting attack, causing several deaths.

The recommended ban is to be effective on rapid-fire bump stocks that are closely comparable to the ones Las Vegas shooter used a year ago.

The White House also revealed that lowering the legal age for the purchase of AR-15 rifles is "on the table"; keeping in mind the legal age for its purchase is now 18 years old.
