Pro-Israeli individual threatens pro-Palestinian protestor with pistol

(MENAFN) A pro-Israeli individual brandished a pistol on Saturday, threatening demonstrators at a pro-Palestinian protest in Paris.

Protesters had grouped to call an end to Israel's military mission in the Gaza Strip, which have pursued for over a year.

Far-left France Unbowed (LFI) party legislative Claire Lejeune, who was a part of the protest, stated the incident on X, saying, "A man pulled out a gun to threaten those rallying for peace in Palestine," she also thanked the security forces for their quick interference to stop the aggressor.

She also said, “The violence against activists and citizens who stand up against the genocide is getting worse by the day,”

The legislators shared scenes of the incident, which showed a policeman pointing a gun at the armed attacker and telling him to lie on the ground. Protestors rising Palestinian flags can be seen in the background. Also, two officers were seen in the video trying to subdue the attacker, while a voice can be heard saying: "He has a gun."
