New Delhi, Dec 6 (KNN) Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a new collaboration with the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) to support Indian start-ups and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in advancing cybersecurity through generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This partnership aligns with the vision of DSCI's National Centre of Excellence for Cybersecurity technology Development (N-CoE), a joint initiative with the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY).
The initiative aims to position India as a global leader in cybersecurity research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The N-CoE, which has already incubated over 140 start-ups across 15 cybersecurity domains, will provide early-stage companies with resources, training, and access to AWS's generative AI services.
These include cutting-edge AI tools, infrastructure, and technical expertise to accelerate product development. The collaboration will also enable these companies to experiment with rapid prototyping and scale their innovations.
AWS experts in security solutions and AI, alongside leaders from DSCI, will mentor the cohort of start-ups. They will guide the companies through key aspects such as technical concepts, security controls, privacy requirements, and compliance standards.
Additionally, start-ups will be introduced to commercialisation strategies and global expansion opportunities via the AWS Marketplace.
Vinayak Godse, CEO of DSCI, emphasised the importance of this initiative in helping start-ups leverage the potential of generative AI to enhance product development.
He stated, "AWS's technology and infrastructure will provide start-ups with the tools and expertise to build and scale cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, boosting their marketability and global reach."
Sundar VG, Director of Business Development at AWS India, underscored the company's commitment to security and innovation. "We are excited to collaborate with DSCI to enable India's start-ups to harness the power of generative AI and drive cybersecurity advancements," he said.
This partnership signals a significant step toward strengthening India's cybersecurity ecosystem while empowering emerging businesses to thrive on the global stage.
