Azerbaijani SOCAR Midstream Operations Marking Its 10Th Anniversary

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. SOCAR Midstream
Operations, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan
(SOCAR), is marking its 10th anniversary, Trend reports via SOCAR
Midstream Operations.
Its responsibilities include representing SOCAR's interests in
export oil and gas pipelines, primarily within Azerbaijan.
"Since May 1, 2015, SOCAR Midstream has been performing the
functions of the commercial operator of the South Caucasus Pipeline
Company (SCPC), and since August 1, 2021, it has officially taken
on the role of technical operator (previously performed by bp
Exploration (Shah Deniz) Ltd)," the SOCAR subsidiary noted.
Since the end of 2023, SOCAR Midstream Operations has been
headed by Farhad Guliyev, who previously worked as a manager at the
Sangachal oil and gas terminal, a strategic facility in
Azerbaijan.
