(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. Azerbaijani Ambassadorto Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Fuad Iskandarov, has visitedZurich, Trend reports.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting with the SecretaryGeneral of the organization, Mattias Grafström, was held at theheadquarters of the International Association of FootballFederations (FIFA).
Ambassador Iskandarov handed over the invitation of President ofthe Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed to GianniInfantino, President of the International Association of FootballFederations (FIFA), to participate in the 29th session of theConference of Parties (COP29) of the UN Framework Convention onClimate Change. The letter of invitation was received withsatisfaction.
The meeting was also attended by FIFA Regional Director forEurope Elkhan Mammadov and Public Relations Manager AnnalizaTsakona.
