Gunashli Deepwater Production Platform Shuts Down For Routine Maintenance - Bp


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. bp as the operatorof the Azeri-Chirag Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) field developmentproject, has announced planned preventive works on the DeepwaterGunashli platform, the statement of bp said, Trend reports.

“Starting April 25, production from the Deepwater Gunashliplatform has been suspended for 15 days so that planned preventiveworks can be carried out effectively,” bp clarified.

The works involve the replacement of valves, radioisotopesources, and other repair actions.

“The temporary suspension of the platform is included in bp'sproduction plan for 2024,” the statement noted.

Production from other ACG platforms, as well as Shah Deniz fieldplatforms, operations at the Sangachal terminal, and exportoperations via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and the South Caucasus Pipeline(SCPC), continue as normal.
