Signing Of Documents On Co-Op Between Azerbaijan, Hungary Contributes .... (UPDATE)


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. The signing of theJoint Declaration on Expanded Strategic Partnership betweenAzerbaijan and Hungary last year, as well as several otherdocuments on cooperation, served in the development of relationsbetween Azerbaijan and Hungary, Minister of Labor and SocialProtection Sahil Babayev said, Trend reports.

He made the remark during the 10th session of the JointCommission on Economic Cooperation between the governments ofAzerbaijan and Hungary.

Babayev underscored that the elevation of relations betweenAzerbaijan and Hungary to the status of strategic partnership isattributable to the political determination and endeavors of bothcountries' heads of state.

"The trade turnover between our nations has shown significantgrowth, with trade with Hungary increasing by 40.49 percent fromJanuary through February 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 significance of business forums, meetings, and other eventshosted in Baku and Budapest in fostering relationship developmentwas underscored," he said.

To note, Baku hosted the 10th session of the Joint Commission onEconomic Cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan andHungary.

The one-on-one meeting was attended by a delegation headed byHungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó anda delegation headed by Azerbaijani Minister of Labor and SocialProtection Sahil Babayev. The parties discussed the present statusof relations between the two nations and the topics slated for themeeting agenda.
