Lebanese food is one of the most popular cuisines in the UAE, so it's no surprise that House of Pops has formed a collaboration with one of Dubai's best-loved Lebanese food companies, Mama Rita.

Now, foodies can round off an authentic, wholesome, homemade and sustainable meal delivery from Mama Rita's with a specially created House of Pops frozen lolly range.

Developing an exclusive range in conjunction with Mama Rita came about as the two homegrown brands realised the synergies between them – they both want to deliver healthier, more sustainable food to people in the UAE.

Mama Rita launched in 2020, providing home-cooked Lebanese dishes by Rita Kahawaty. Jessica Kahawaty and her mother developed the concept of offering healthy Lebanese cuisine using the best of ingredients with a touch of home. Their philosophy: their food is real, and the kitchen is democratic – everyone deserves to come home to a warm balanced meal, made with love. It made perfect sense.

They pride themselves for using simple clean ingredients, and use sustainable packaging, just like House of Pops.

House of Pops' Co-Founder and CEO, Mazen Kanaan, says:“We love to partner with other small businesses, especially Mama Rita. We're huge fans at the office – there's almost a daily order!

“Mama Rita started off just like us, from their kitchen, making food from top-quality simple ingredients with all the love. We share our love for offering the best we can, while staying true to the environment.”

Jessica, Mama Rita's Co-Founder and CEO adds,“My family and I have been admirers of House of Pops from the moment they made their colorful entrance. What captures my heart about them is the wonderful balance they've achieved – healthful goodness and extraordinary taste within each popsicle. Our vision was to infuse a sense of home into each new flavour – every ingredient whispers tales of Beirut that I hope will evoke the most beautiful memories within every person who tries them.”

The new pops come in five deliciflavours to complement Mama Rita's home delivery food service offering:

Orange Blossom: a Lebanese grandma staple! Inspired by all those afternoons after family lunch, having hot orange blossom made by“teta” after a delicihome-cooked meal.

Toot A Beirut: inspired by the Lebanese jingle and the wild mulberries that grow across different regions of Lebanon

Cold Brew: because coffee is in their blood! With a splash of organic coconut milk.

ChMatcha: inspired by Jessica's favourite House of Pops range – the choco-dipped collection

Peach Paradise: inspired by those giant fruit platters at grandma's house, where peach overflowed!
