Blood Donation At Bangladesh Embassy

Doha, Qatar: Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Doha in collaboration with the Bangladesh community in Qatar arranged a blood donation programme at the embassy premises on August 25.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar H E Md Nazrul Islam along with embassy officials and community members inaugurated the programme in the afternoon.
The programme was arranged as a tribute to 48th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Father of Nation Bangabandhu sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
A medical team from Hamad Medical Hospital collected blood. A number of Bangladeshis donated blood along with embassy officials.
Prominent Bangladesh community members and nationals from other countries also participated in the programme.
The embassy also distributed food stuffs to the Bangladeshis who are in financial difficulty.
