Aircraft Maintenance Facility To Be Set Up At Jewar Airport Greater Noida, Aug 18 (KNN) The proposed Jewar International Airport in Greater Noida will also be equipped as an aircraft maintenance centre and the work has begun already, reported Dainik
Jagran.

Ltd. (NIAL) will invite companies to submit expression of interest (EoI) from next week.
The airport's total passenger capacity is expected to reach 225 million, making it the largest in Asia and the fourth largest globally.
The phase-1 will commence with two runways, and subsequent phases will see the addition of three more runways.
A dedicated runway for the MRO Facility is planned for Phase-2, taking the total number of runways to six.
Arun Vir Singh, CEO OF NIAL and YEIDA said that the airport's commencement of operations (COD) will happen as scheduled on the fixed date of 1 October 2024.
He foresees the construction to be completed by February of the following year, followed by DGCA tests in the subsequent months.
