(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the past 24 hours, 33 combat clashes between Ukrainian defenders and Russian invaders were reported in different areas along the front line. This was reported by the general staff of the Armed Forces on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.
"In the past day, the enemy launched four missile strikes and 53 air strikes, as well as 40 attacks involving MLR systems, on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civil infrastructure were affected," the report reads.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes targeting the entire territory of Ukraine remains high, warns the General Staff.
Over the past day, 33 combat clashes have taken place.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 20 settlements, including Vilchyki, Mykolaivske, Chernihiv region; Pokrovka, Novodmytrivka, and Ryasne Sumy region, and Okhrymivka, Mala Vovcha, Budarky, and Stroivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy ran unsuccessful offensive operations in the Synkivka area, Kharkiv region. Air strikes hit Petropavlivka and Kucherivka areas in Kharkiv region. The settlements of Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Kucherivka, Kurylivka, and Krokhmalne, Kharkiv region, and Nadiia, Luhansk region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortars.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy took on unsuccessful offensive efforts in the area of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. Their airstrikes hit the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Terny, Yampil, and Siversk, Donetsk region. About 20 settlements, including Nevske, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka of Luhansk region, and Spirne, Zvarivka, Fedorivka, and Rozdolivka of Donetsk region, were hit by enemy artillery.

Their airstrikes targeted the Vasyukivka area of Donetsk region. More than 20 settlements, including Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, Severnye, Zalizne, and Druzhba of Donetsk region, came under Russian artillery fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Russians carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Keramik, Donetsk region. The airstrikes were reported in the Novokalynove and Avdiivka districts of Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Ocheretyne, Berdychi, Stepove, Novoselivka Persha, and Pervomaiske of Donetsk region, were hit by Russian artillery.
In the Marinka direction, Ukraine's defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Marinka and Krasnohorivka districts of Donetsk region. The enemy launched an airstrike in the Krasnohorivka district of Donetsk region. Over 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, and Antonivka of Donetsk region, were subjected to Russian artillery fire.
In the direction of Shakhtarske, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore lost positions in the area of Urozhaine, Donetsk region, and Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 10 settlements, including Vodiane, Bohoyavlenka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Urozhaine of Donetsk region, were hit by Russian artillery.
In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, the Russian airstrike targeted the area of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. Over 25 settlements, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaipole, and Zaliznychne of Zaporizhzhia region, were affected by enemy artillery fire.
In the Kherson direction, over 15 settlements were hit by enemy artillery, among them Antonivka, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Dniprovske, Kherson, Veletenske, and Tomyna Balka of Kherson region and Kutsurub and Ochakiv of Mykolaiv region.
At the same time, Ukraine's Defense Forces pursue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, getting entrenched at the gained positions and taking“counter-battery measures.”
"In the past 24 hours, the Air Force conducted seven strikes on enemy manpower and equipment clusters and two on their anti-aircraft missile systems. Also, our defenders destroyed two Ka-52 attack helicopters and four reconnaissance UAVs of the operational-tactical level. Also during the day, missile and artillery units hit four Russian artillery pieces in firing positions, two ammunition depots, and an e-warfare system," the General Staff of the Armed Forces concluded.
