(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, July 4 (KUNA) -- European Union High Representative Josep Borrell begins a two-day visit to Niger on Wednesday for talks to strengthen the partnership.
This visit will be an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between the EU and Niger and to discuss various national, bilateral, regional and global issues, said a statement released by Borrell's office today.
He will also visit the two EU Common Security and Defence Policy missions in Niger.
Borrell will be received by President Mohamed Bazoum and meet with several ministers in Niamey on Wednesday. (end)
