(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Oryx chapter of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) conducted a workshop on“CFD Application for Building HVAC, VFD chiller, Magnetic Bearing Chiller, Ice thermal storage & Sustainable HVAC Green Product Technology” for air conditioning engineers recently.
Around 120 engineers from various sectors in Qatar attended.
Azman Abdulla (deputy general manager, Dunham-Bush) was the visiting keynote speaker with P K Hashir (CFD analyst at Al Malki Trading & Contracting Company), the other guest speaker. Chapter advisory board chairman Hassan Sultan welcomed the gathering. President Kinan Fahs was the main co-ordinator. Seenu Pillai was the master of ceremonies. Richie Mittal, director & regional chair for the region at large, came from India to attend the session.
Sultan also presented the award from the ASHRAE society to the chapter's board of governor Abdul Zameer, for his contribution to the technological development and to Ghassan Trabolsi, for the support and services as a chapter president.
