been appointed as the new chairman of the Türkiye's Central Bank,
trend reports.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a corresponding
decree.
Hafize Gaye Erkan, born in 1982, graduated from Bogazici
University in 2001.
She has a doctorate and a PhD in financial engineering from
Princeton University.
