A fire that had broken out in a warehouse in Abu Dhabi has been brought under control, local authorities have said.
The Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority had arrived at the warehouse in Mussafah Industrial City.
The authority took to Twitter to say, "Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority teams are dealing with a fire that broke out at a warehouse in Mussafah industrial area." Police also reminded residents to seek information from official sources only.
Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority teams, after quickly arriving at the site, succeeded in controlling the fire on Monday evening. The fire did not result in any casualties, the authority said, and the site is currently being cooled.
