(MENAFN- UkrinForm) EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell met with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue security forum in Singapore. Borrel reported the meeting on twitter , Ukrinform reports.
"Wherever we meet in the world, the bond between EU and Ukraine is unbreakable. With Oleksii Reznikov and EU colleagues we stressed need for global solidarity and support for Ukraine. Because shared principles are at stake," the tweet reads.
Borrell also reported that he had met with Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu to discuss common strategic issues, including the war in Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a Shangri-La Dialogue security forum is being held in Singapore on June 2-4, at which the war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine is on top agenda.
Among the participants are delegations from the U.S., China, and the European Union, in particular heads and high-ranking officials of defense agencies, military, diplomats, arms manufacturers, and security analysts.
