Amman, Apr. 15 (Petra) -- The European-Jordanian Advanced Business Institute (EJABI), the training arm of the Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), and the National Fund for Enterprise Support (NAFES) signed Saturday an agreement to support training courses for the industrial sector and develop the capabilities of its employees in the marketing, selling and food safety management areas.
According to an ACI statement, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EJABI and Vice President of the ACI Tamim Qasrawi underscored that the agreement comes in the framework of a long-term plan for EJABI to cooperate with strategic partners in a way that contributes to the development of its training programs to address the needs of the industrial sector.
Qasrawi indicated that the institute has partnership agreements with several entities, associations, institutions and universities, noting that it has trained over the past years more than 20,000 trainees from various economic sectors.
In turn, Nisreen Abu Anza, General Manager of NAFES, said that the signing of this agreement comes in implementation of the fund's objectives in helping small- and medium-sized enterprises in the Kingdom improve their administrative capabilities and increase their competitiveness locally and globally.
Abu Anza pointed out that the fund contributes to the costs of implementing administrative and financial development projects and training, in addition to supervising their implementation under top standards.
