(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Between March 6, 2023 and March 12, 2023, a total of 654,000 tonnes of agricultural products were exported via the Odesa region's sea ports, which is 36% lower compared to the previous week. The relevant statement was made by the ukrainian agribusiness club (UCAB), an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
During that period, sixteen ships were loaded at the Odesa region's ports, which is four vessels less compared to the previous week.
Most export shipments consisted of corn (49% of the total volume), wheat (21%) and soybeans (11%). Ukrainian-produced agricultural products were exported to Asia (China, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye), Europe (Spain,
Portugal, the Netherlands, etc.) and Africa (Libya).
The existing grain deal is expiring on March 18, 2023. The UCAB emphasized that, in case of prolongation, it is essential to ensure the full-fledged operation of the 'grain corridor', without obstacles created by the Russian side, which have been observed in recent months.
In general, since the 'grain corridor' was launched on August 1, 2022, Ukraine has exported 24 million tonnes of agricultural products.
