CBI governor holds meeting with Russian representatives to continue on mutual action document


(MENAFN) Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Mohammadreza Farzin has underlined continuation on the forcing of a mutual action document among CBI and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, as reported by CBI portal.

While giving a speech on Tuesday in a gathering with a visiting Russian delegation commanded by Igor Yevgenyevich Levitin, a senior aide to the leader of the Russian Federation, Farzin stressed the importance for strengthening monetary and banking collaboration among Iran and Russia.

“The Central Bank of Iran is ready to promote bilateral monetary and banking relations with Russia as well as other friendly and neighboring countries at a high level in order to increase economic and commercial exchanges,” the CBI governor asserted.

Talking about the volume of collaboration among Iran and Russia in monetary, banking, financial, construction, as well as commercial sectors, he asserted that improving ties among the two nations under the outline of the mutual action document is going to establish a clear viewpoint for the financial collaboration among the two nations.
