MP Merezhko: Iran Becomes Accomplice In Russian Aggression Against Ukraine

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) From a legal point of view, Iran became an accomplice in Russian aggression against Ukraine.

'We demand to strengthen sanctions. It is known that Iran was designated a state sponsor of terrorism, this is correct. Unfortunately, we have learned that from our own experience... From a legal point of view, Iran became an accomplice in Russian aggression against Ukraine as it understood that its weapons, drones are used against the civilian population,' Oleksandr Merezhko, Head of the Verkhovna Rada's Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, said during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine–Ukrinform.

He expressed hope that it will be possible to resolve the dangerous situation with the possible supply of Iranian-made ballistic missiles to Russia if we act in advance, use diplomatic channels and sanction pressure.
