Marine Warning Issued In Qatar Until Thursday: QMD

Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) issued a marine warning until Thursday, September 29. During this period, fresh to strong wind is forecasted to blow in northwesterly direction. It will also gust to 30 KT.

Sea waves are expected to range between 3 to 7 ft rising to 10 ft at times. 

Due to this weather condition, the Department also urged citizens and residents to take precaution and avoid all marine activities.

Some of the marine activities to avoid during the warning includes free swimming, boat trips, scuba diving, free diving, surfing, fishing tours, and windsurfing.
