Qatar, Greece Discuss Ways To Strengthen Legal Co-Operation

Greek Minister of Justice Kostas Tsiaras discussed in Athens on Wednesday with HE the Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohamed al-Ameri means of strengthening legal co-operation between Qatar and Greece. During an official working session, the two sides discussed aspects of co-operation between the two friendly countries in the legal and legislative fields, including working to activate the co-operation agreement in the legal field between the ministries of justice in the two countries, which was signed in Doha in Oct 2021. The two sides discussed the importance of exchanging joint experiences, training and legal qualification, benefiting from the experience of the two countries in the fields of justice services, employing digital transformation projects to develop legal professions, and strengthening legal and judicial co-operation at various levels to combat international crimes, including transnational organised crimes, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest. The meetings were attended by Qatar's ambassador to Greece Walid bin Mohamed al-Emadi. (QNA)
