Six More AC Buses For Padma Bridge Tour : Mocat State Minister

Dhaka : A total of six new air-conditioned (AC) tourist buses are going to be added for the Padma Bridge tour.
Md Mahbub Ali, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, said this while inaugurating the Padma Bridge Tour Package from Parjatan Bhaban in the capital on July 22.
On the occasion, the State Minister announced, ' Six new buses will be brought from France soon so that domestic and foreign tourists can safely travel to Kuakata beach, Sundarbans, and other tourist hotspots in the south of the country in a short time.'
Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) is running the Padma Bridge tour package on Fridays and Saturdays. 
On those two days respectively, the bus leaves the Agargaon Tourism Building for Padma Bridge at 4:00 pm and returns to Dhaka by 10:30 pm the same day. 
The trip costs BDT 999.
The tour will be conducted by trained guides from Bangladesh Parjatan Corpor- ation (BPC)'s National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute.
On the eve of the launch, BPC Manager (Sales and Development) Ziaul Haque Hawlader said all tickets had already been sold for next Friday and Saturday.
'While moving towards Bhanga, tourists will savour the beauty of the Padma River in daylight and, in the evening, they will enjoy the wonderful lighting of the bridge and the expressway as they return,' he added.
About 28 people will be able to travel on each bus.
