Saudi Crown Prince meets President and members of Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council

HH Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met Thursday with the President and members of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council.
The Saudi crown prince expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's support for the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and aspiration that the council's establishment would contribute to the start of a new chapter in Yemen that would move it from war to peace and development.
He also expressed hope that the next stage would be different, noting the determination and optimism of all, reiterating that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen for Yemen to enjoy security, stability and prosperity.
Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi had announced earlier today a new presidential leadership council and transferred his powers to it.
The council is chaired by Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, with seven members: Sultan Al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdul Rahman Abu Zara'a, Abdullah Al-Alimi, Othman Majali, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and Faraj Al-Bahsani.
