Guinea-Bissau's leader states situation controlled within coup info


(MENAFN) Guinea-Bissau’s Leader Umaro Sissoco Embalo declared many members of the security forces were murdered in a takeover, without giving exact numbers.

Embalo informed reporters that the fires were for five hours and security workers were within the deaths.

According to previous information, the leader’s location was unidentified, then he said that he was at the governmental palace.

Embalo called the coup an assault against democracy, ascribing it to “the work of isolated elements.”
