Qatar - Amir holds talks with Polish President

Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President H E Andrzej Duda of the Republic of Poland held official talks at the Amiri Diwan this morning.

The Amir welcomed the Polish President and the accompanying delegation, wishing him a pleasant stay, and the relations between the two countries further development and growth in various fields. For his part, the Polish President expressed his thanks to Amir for the warm reception and hospitality, stressing his keenness to develop Qatari-Polish relations, and looking forward that his visit will contribute to achieving the aspirations of the two friendly countries in terms of cooperation and friendship between the two countries.

During the session, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them, especially in the fields of economy, energy, culture and sports, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

The session was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.

On the Polish side, it was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying the President.

The Polish President had arrived at the Amiri Diwan earlier, where an official reception ceremony was held for him.
