Qatar - Security officer in viral video honoured for raising traffic awareness


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by Traffic Awareness Department, honoured security personnel for their efforts in regulating traffic and raising traffic awareness.

At the event, Abu Bakr Saeed Bui and Abu Bakr Ali Muhammad were honoured for their efforts in regulating traffic at the area around Lycee Bonaparte School in Dafna. 

This recognition came as a video of a security personnel went viral on social media for helping residents, including children, to safely cross the road. As seen in the video, the security officer holds a stop sign while enthusiastically guiding the residents cross the street after school hours. 

 

Furthermore, the officials also honoured Anmar Abdul Latif Abdullah Al Saaydah for his efforts and cooperation with Traffic Awareness Department in raising traffic awareness. 

The honor was awarded by Colonel Dr. Muhammad Radi Al-Hajri, Director of Traffic Awareness Department, and Lieutenant-Colonel Jaber Muhammad Odaiba, Assistant Director of Traffic Awareness Department.
