Petrol traders 'frustrated' even with development

(MENAFN) 13 percent of spaces in London and South East were out of fuel, with 16 percent obtaining either petrol or diesel and 71 percent both, announced the Petrol Retailers Association.

As for the remainder of Britain, 5 percent are out of fuel, and 4 percent have one grade and 91 percent both.

The PRA mentioned, in spite of military truck drivers currently assisting, doubt resides.

Gordon Balmer, the board’s executive director, reports that PRA signifies thousands of self-governing retailers, the majority of them still do not know of future distributions.

He reported, "Independent forecourts report a complete lack of visibility as to when their next delivery might arrive, and some have been dry for four days and still waiting for a delivery.

"We have yet to see any explanation from the government of the benefits arising from the suspension of competition law between the major oil companies in the delivery of downstream fuel. We need to restore a competitive market with incentives for those who deliver on the job."
