5.7-magnitude quake strikes Taiwan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sep. 26 (Petra) -- An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck Taiwan early Sunday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
According to the EMSC, the epicenter of the temblor was 85 kilometers southeast of Banqiao District at a focal depth of 45 km.
