Saudi Arabia searches for associates for water pipeline scheme


(MENAFN) As mentioned on TradeArabia.com, the Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has welcomed expressions of interest (EoIs) for the Riyadh-Qassim Independent Water Transmission Pipeline (IWTP) project, which, on finishing point, will have a broadcast capability of 685,000 cubic meters a day.

SWPC stated in a report, by this plan, the Saudi regime seeks to complete its targets of maintaining sustainable growth of the Saudi Arabia’s water resources when giving reasonably priced efficient services.

A challenging procedure will be conducted to choose the developer/developer consortium for the 1,392-km-long pipeline scheme which will be executed on a build, own, operate and transfer basis, as mentioned by SWPC . The time limit for bids has been decided at Oct. 31, said the utility firm.
