“The Farmers Market is assembled at a community center aimed mainly at the expatriate population, although Egyptians also visit it. Before the summer, we put up a table with Brazilian products, including pão de queijo, dulce de leche, carrot cake, and it worked very well, so we decided to gather more Brazilian exhibitors for this edition,” she said.

Hafez said they are trying to participate in the Farmers Market every month and bring more and more Brazilians to sell their products. The Brazilian is married to an Egyptian and has an ice cream and popsicle business, Gelato on Wheelz .

According to the Brazilian Embassy in Cairo, there are currently around 650 Brazilians living in Egypt. The Arab country is open to the entry of Brazilian tourists.
