Palestine calls on UN to end Israeli offenses against children

(MENAFN) On Monday, May. 17 Palestine’s Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki called on the UN to end the Israeli crimes against Palestinian children.

The Israeli strong and aggressive assaults on Gaza have led to the losses of dozens of children, and Palestinian children had no secure places to obtain shelter, stated Maliki, UN’s special envoy for children and armed conflict, in a note to Virginia Gamba.

Maliki stated: "we call Gamba to protect Palestinian children, and urge Israel to stop its attacks on Palestinian children."

On Monday, May. 17, Palestine’s Health Ministry noted that the deaths from the current Israeli assaults on the besieged Gaza Strip have increased to 212.
