Gunfire leaves three dead in U.S. Texas capital


(MENAFN) Authorities stated that on Sunday, Apr. 18 an active gunfire in Austin, capital of U.S. state of Texas left three persons dead.

The fatalities were announced by Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Service (EMS). Austin police, fire and EMS retaliated to the gunfire, the agency said on Twitter.

The gunfire site is at a residence complex in the northwest of Austin, reported Austin Police.

The site is still active and people are urged to take shelter in place and keep away from the scene.
