China's main land port manages 10,000 China-Europe cargo trains


(MENAFN)According to local railway authorities, the number of China-Europe cargo trains traveling through Manzhouli, China's main land port, reached 10,000 on Tuesday, April 13.

Loaded with 61 containers transporting chairs, towels, valves, moveable air conditioners and other goods, a cargo train left Manzhouli for Poland on Tuesday, April 13, becoming the 10,000th China-Europe cargo train to cross the pass.

According to Manzhouli branch of the China Railway Harbin Group Co. Ltd, in the first quarter of 2021, the number of China-Europe cargo trains passing Manzhouli hit 951, as it increased 60.4 percent year on year.

Since the first China-Europe cargo train passing Manzhouli in 2013, the average monthly number of such trains has surpassed 300, the branch added.
