(MENAFN) Kuwait's Foreign Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, stated on Wednesday that Kuwait encourages Yemen's peace and security.
During a conference with Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak, the minister made the statement.
Both sides discussed their deep bilateral ties as well as the recent developments in Yemen and the Middle East during the meeting.
Kuwait's foreign minister reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to supporting Yemen's independence and stability, as well as efforts to restore security to its territory, in compliance with the Gulf Cooperation Council initiative and its implementation process, as well as the results of Yemen's national dialogue and related UN resolutions.
