Drop observed in U.S. crude oil refinery inputs last week


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Feb. 24 the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated that U.S. crude oil refinery inputs declined in the week concluding Feb. 19.

In the past week, refineries functioned at 68.6 percent of their operable capacity. U.S. crude oil refinery inputs hovered 12.2 million barrels a day (b/d) in the past week, less by 2.6 million b/d from the previous week's average.

Distillate fuel output dropped in the past week, hovering 3.6 million b/d. Gasoline output declined in the past week, hovering 7.7 million b/d.

Whole products provided throughout the past four-week period hovered 19.5 million b/d, a decline by 3.9 percent from the very period of 2020.
