Doha: Artists taking part in The Art and The Mobile — a unique project intended to enrich Qatar's cultural and artistic scene and showcase its young and upcoming artists — were given smartphones to use as their canvas, turning the devices into creative masterpieces.

Organisers chose a select group of artists to take part in the challenge, with each artist given two to three devices depending on the technique used.
