According to the Afghan National Army, 10 Taliban fighters were killed in two separate incidents in Zabul province.
Sayed Baba Mansouri, commander of the 2nd Infantry Brigade in Zabul, told the media on Tuesday, that the operations took place in response to the Taliban attack on security forces outposts.
Mansouri added that seven militants were killed and six others wounded in the Shamulzayi district.
Furthermore, in Shajoy district one Taliban fighter was killed and two others were wounded.
Two militants are reported dead and two others are wounded in the Mizan district of the province
Taliban have not yet commented over the incident.
