Morocco diagnoses 191 more patients with coronavirus

Health authorities of Morocco said on Monday that 191 more coronavirus patients have been confirmed in the country, increasing the total number of COVID-19 infections across the country to 15,936.

Hind Ezzine, the head of the department of epidemic diseases of the Ministry of Health, said during a press briefing that the number of patients that have recovered from the disease rose to 12,934 as 651 more patients recovered.

The official added that the total number of coronavirus related deaths across the country stands at 255 as of now as five more patients have died due to the disease.

The coronavirus death rate in the country remains stable at 1.9 percent as the recovery rate is at 73.4 percent.
