Qatar Finance and Business Academy-Northumbria University goes online with virtual open day

Qatar's leading learning and development organisation, The Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), in partnership with Northumbria University (QFBA-Northumbria University) will host a digital session addressing students and parents frequently asked questions about the university on June 22, at 5pm from the comfort of their homes as part of its annual ‘open day' tradition for student prospects. 
Admission Specialist, Dean of Academic Affairs at QFBA and QFBA-NU alumni will lead an informative a hour-long digital session, guiding participants through the application process, degree programmes and academic support offered, a brief introduction to the faculty as well a showcase of the various facilities through a short video and the opportunity to ask presenters.
On this occasion, Professor Naser Abumustafa, Dean of Academic Affairs said: 'Investment in human capital; mainly education, is important to influence social change in developing countries. Human capital investment is positively correlated to economic growth since investment tends to boost productivity. 
'At QFBA-Northumrbia University, education is the greatest asset we can give to our students, the leaders of tomorrow. We are organising an innovative virtual take on our open day, delivering an easy and convenient experience amidst COVID-19 precautionary measures, he said.
'Our goal is aligned with the Qatar National Vision for 2030, as we strive to help build a knowledge-based economy with a special emphasis on developing the nation's financial services sector. We are determined to offer enhanced opportunities in education and equipped to face all challenges, he added.
With four degree major programmes and a Master's Programme, QFBA-Northumbria University supports the nation's finance and business sectors through the delivery of pragmatic and innovative education. 
The institute welcomes a range of graduates from high school and foundation programmes, diploma holders (CNA-Q and CCQ graduates), business professionals and bachelor's degree holders wishing to pursue a master's degree in finance and seeking competitive advantage during these challenging times.
