Kuwait- Norway: four deaths from Coronavirus, toll 20


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, March 28 (KUNA) -- The Norwegian Institute of Public Health Saturday announced that four more patients have died in the last 24-hours raising the toll to 20 deaths in Norway from coronavirus.
The average age of the dead is 84 years, it noted in a statement.
Health officials say 264 new cases were reported raising the total to 3,845 people with confirmed COVID-19 in Norway.
The average age of those infected is 48 years old, 52 percent are men.
Now 1,994 has been infected in Norway, 1,256 have been infected from abroad and the others are unknown.
There are a total of 128 people with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 who have been admitted to intensive care.
A total of 82,584 people have been reported tested for COVID-19 in Norway.
On average, around 4 percent have been infected through the outbreak so far, but the proportion of positives has gone up in recent days, it said. (end)
