Maryke is investigating the challenges for health communication presented by poor quality information and misinformation in today's changing media landscape.
Maryke completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney in 2016 and has a background in media and science/health communications. She has previously worked in communications for health organisations, and as a science and health reporter/producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and others.
