2.8 percent rise in Chinese foreign trade

The General Administration of Customs (GAC) said on Monday that the foreign trade in China saw a stable growth in the starting three quarters of the current year with a 2.8 percent rise since the past year.

GAC data showed that the total volume of foreign trade hit USD3.23 trillion in the starting 9 months, exports added 5.2 percent and imports declined 0.1 percent.

The trade surplus in China increased 44.2 percent since the past year.

The trade mix in the country kept improving in the period with the general trade increasing both in volume and proportion. General trade added 4.8 percent since the past year and made up 59.5 percent of the total trade.
