Kuwait will increase security level of port facilities


(MENAFN) (KPA) the Kuwait Ports Authority said on Friday that, Kuwait will improve its port security level of facilities; KPA added in a statement that, the choice was issued by Khaled Al-Roudhan, Kuwait's minister of commerce and industry and state minister for services.


Kuwait will increase security level of all port facilities in the country, according to the ministerial decree, the statement also said that, the decision seeks to preserve the security of the country and its territory also ports under conditions experienced by the district.


On Sept. 14, bomb-laden drones' stroke two oil making plants of Saudi oil giant Aramco in Abqaiq and Khurais, knocking out half of its oil output and causing a rise in oil price.


Yemen's Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the U.S. blamed Iran, the Houthi ally.
