Plane collides in Philippines, 1 dies


(MENAFN) On Friday, A two-seater plane collided into a rice field in Pampanga region, north of the Philippine capital of Manila, causing the death of a British pilot.

The incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. in La Paz, a village in Arayat town in Luzon Island, as said by Pampanga police.

Police said that, the pilot, Mark Hogget, 55, a resident of Tarlac City, lost his life in the crash.

The plane was flying low before it collided; the plane is a two-seater white quicksilver ultra-light with Body No. RPS2785 owned by a local flying club, as the police said Quoting witnesses.
